Welcome to the Chris Buckingham State Farm Agent office! Since 1990, we have been committed to serving Starbuck, MN, and surrounding areas, including Glenwood, Alexandria, Benson, Hancock, Cyrus, and surrounding communities in Pope, Douglas, Swift, and Stevens counties. With 35 years of experience, I take pride in helping individuals, families, and businesses determine the coverage to works for them.

We offer a variety of insurance options, including Car Insurance to keep you covered on the road, Home Insurance to help protect your property, and Life Insurance to help you plan for the future of your loved ones. We also provide State Farm's Renters and Condo Insurance for tenants and homeowners, Business Insurance for entrepreneurs, and Motorcycle Insurance for riders. No matter the type of insurance you need, we are here to guide you.

Beyond insurance, I am actively involved in the Starbuck Chamber of Commerce, Minnewaska Fairways Fore All, Pheasants Forever, and Ducks Unlimited. I also served as a board member at Minnewaska Golf Club, supporting the local golf community. One of my most remarkable personal triumphs was receiving a successful liver transplant at the Mayo Clinic in 2015, and I am a proud champion for organ donation — Be a hero, be a donor!

Outside the office, I enjoy golfing, hiking, fishing, hunting, traveling, and watching sports. I graduated from Southwest State in Marshall, MN, with a degree in Business and Finance Management. I have been married to my wife, Diane, for 36 years, and we are proud parents of two grown sons. Our family loves spending time outdoors with our two springer spaniels.
